There is very little need to remove the side trays but if you need to just remove the 8mm fasteners, and they drop down. Installation is the reverse of removal. Need to buy parts for this project?

Is the stupid car tray personal passenger seat?

The Stupid Car Tray solves all of those issues for me. Frankly, the only thing Stupid is is ME for not thinking of this myself!
