Part 1 of 2: Testing injector resistance
- Material Needed.
- Step 1: Make sure the key is off.
- Step 2: Remove injector wiring harness.
- Step 3: Set DVOM to measure ohms.
- Step 4: Test resistance with DVOM.
- Step 5: Repeat with all injectors.
- Step 1: Turn the car on.
- Step 2: Set up DVOM to measure DC voltage.
Do I need high or low impedance injectors?
How do I know if my injector is low impedance or high impedance? You can measure the resistance across the two electrical terminals of the injector. If the resistance is between 1.5 and 4.0 Ohm you have low impedance injectors. If the resistance is between 8 and 16 Ohm you have high impedance injectors.

Why does my car have no pulse to injectors?
