How much does it cost to have Cummins Insite?
While Insite is a very popular program among diesel technicians, many aren’t aware that there are two different versions; Lite and Pro. Cummins Insite Lite is the cheaper of the two versions, costing anywhere between $1,000 — $1,500.
Why does Cummins Insite take so long to load?
This is just because of the requirements. The Cummins Insite program requires more processing power and more RAM to ensure that it opens up quickly and runs all of your tests smoothly. We recommend checking your computer’s specs to determine if that’s what is slowing you down.
Does Cummins Insite work on Dodge Ram?
Insite will not work on Common Rail Engines. Since dodge put their ECM’s in the common rail, Cummins no loger has control over the computer. Insite works on Dodge trucks…you have to have the correct cables and software.
