Why does the low oil indicator never come on on Honda Odyssey?
The low oil indicator light never came on because Honda doesn’t have this feature. Once you run out of oil, the low (no) oil PRESSURE warning would come on. This would probably be a flashing check engine light or flashing oil light.

What to do when VSA light does not come on?
When the light comes on, Honda suggests getting someplace safe and restarting the engine. If the VSA light doesn’t come back on, you are good to go. If it does come back on, it is time to diagnose the issue, or take it in to the shop.
