Where is the centre console cigarette lighter fuse?

It was a 15 or 20 amp fuse. As has been suggested, make sure there are no bits in the socket etc:. Would there be separate fuses for these two sockets?

On the T6 Ocean with comfort dash, it looks like the fuses are hidden behind the lower cup holder and under the bonnet. Any help would be appreciated so I don’t have to pull-out and check every fuse on the van! Also, does anyone know if the same fuse is used for any other electrical items?

Whilst this is helpful @Loz for post Cali t6, the original cali t5 fuses are underneath ashtray and under passenger seat and the location of fuses is different Click to expand… I located the burnt out 15 amp fuse for my dashboard cigarette lighter on my 2017 T6.

Look near the fuse box for a second block consisting of mainly relays, about 4″ square. There will be 1 to 3 fuses attached to it, check these, specifically #19 in the illustration: This should be the only other fuse. If it is good, there is a possibility in the link on the back of the socket is blown.

The fuse for the accessory outlets will be in the in-dash fuse box. Look for a 15A fuse, it *should* be fuse #5 and #19, however the numbering is not always correct as they change from year to year and the service manuals are consolidated..

Is there a fuse on the back of the socket?
This should be the only other fuse. If it is good, there is a possibility in the link on the back of the socket is blown. On certain accessory sockets (particularly ones marked for higher wattage) there will be a tiny fusible link on the back of the socket which will blow out if there is extreme load on it.
