Where to put the chain on a Kawasaki ZX10R?
Please see the stock gearing chart below to assist you in choosing your chain kit. For most 600cc bikes we suggest 1 down in the front and 2 up in the rear. For most 1000cc bikes we suggest 2 up in the rear with a stock front. This may not be correct for your intended application.

Our custom Driven Racing 520 Chain and Sprocket Kit can be dialed in to meet your specific performance needs. Installing a 520 Chain Kit on your bike will reduce the weight as compared to the stock drive components, remember this is rotating mass so any weight savings is significant.
What kind of sprocket does a Kawasaki Z900 use?
We offer your choice of Driven 520 Colored Aluminum or Driven 520 Steel Rear Sprocket (steel is a little heavier than the aluminum but will last longer) paired with a Driven 520 Steel Front Sprocket in several sizes so you can select the gearing that will suit your riding style (if you need help choosing please contact us).
