Why does my quad bog down?
Lean bogs come about when the amount of fuel in your engine is less than the amount of air. This mostly occurs when your ATV runs out of fuel. It can also happen if the air boxes are opened, thus allowing in too much air.

Clutch engages, shifter clicks up as normal… but bike stays in 3rd gear just revving high. Try again, no dice. 3rd time, hit the shifter REALLY hard and it goes into 4th.
What is the neutral sending unit on a Suzuki DR650?
Neutral Sending Unit (NSU)- This is a sensor within the engine that lights the “Neutral” indicator on the dash. It is held in place by two screws. There are very rare instances where these screws have backed out and fallen into the engine.

Hit traffic light… start off in 1st, then 2nd, now I can’t get into 3rd… try several times. afraid to mess it up, ride the 10 miles home in 2nd gear. Dumb teenager at next stoplight wants to race.
