Why does the rear hatch not open on my GMC Terrain?
Rear hatch will not open/unlock on 2011 GMC Terrain. I used to be able to feel a little bubble/bump that I could push from the back but now the bubble is gone and it feels flat straight across.

When trying to open the rear liftgate the door will open completely then quickly close halfway, open completely again, then quickly close shut making it impossible to safely put anything into or remove from the trunk of the car.
