Why is my 4 wheel drive Chevy Trailblazer not working?
My husband was driving our 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, and when he went to change the switch into four-wheel drive, the switch wouldn’t budge. Instead, it broke off–through no fault of my husband I’m told–and the 4×4 service light popped on.

Can a 4WD dash switch be replaced on a 2002 TrailBlazer?
The dealership has replace the 4WD dash switch on my 2002 Trailblazer at least twice over the years for the same situation but my new mechanic just reprogramed the computer which fixed it. Do a search on this because it happens alot to the Trailblazers.

This mean that it makes the rear tires spin at the same speed and as one. In normal 2wd operation the tires spin freely of each other. When you turn to the right the wheel on the driver side has to spin faster to keep in sync with the inside tire on the right. But when you are in the snow, or on ice the tires wont spin at once.
