Thanks folks for all of your replies.according to Freightliner they are seeing a lot of trucks for expansion valve issue’s.they also changed the ever so important cabin air filter.other than that these Freightliners are pretty good trucks.

Gotta love rough dirt/gravel roads in the county. $230.00 part and 3-5 hours of work to fix. So much for saving any money this month. Easy come easy go.
How much does a Freightliner a / C filter cost?
The filter can be a bear to get to, but that usually fixes it for about a year. I have to re-silicone mine each time I replace a filter, it will leak water into the floor if I don’t. Call a local dealer to order, I don’t know of anyone else that stocks them. I want to say they are around $15-20 each.
