Why do I hear a clunk in the rear?

The problem is I hear a clunk in the rear when making turns. Either way. It’s been there from day one. I can also grab a tire or the bed rail and make the noise by shaking them. I’m about to let the dealer check it out but was wondering if anyone here has had any similar issues? Check your spare tire it could be loose.
