Is the Check Engine light on on 2017 Duramax?
I used the same DEF I always used in the 2014 Duramax with no problems, but the same DEF causes the check engine light to come on in the 2017 Duramax. As much DEF as these companies sell, it is fresh. The GM Service department says the computer is configured so that it only functions based on GM DEF quality standards.

Drive another 2-3 miles and then the check engine light goes back on. So i stopped at Autozone and checked the coolant level, looks just fine. Had them pull the codes and they got 3 codes. P133F came up 3 times and then there was also a P0894.

P133F is #8 glowplug hot resistance fault. Did you determine if the Elevated Idle is enabled? Are you using remote start? If not, are you giving waiting for glowplug light to go out before turning key to ‘start’? Elevated idle was not activated….it is now though.

What is the p026d code on a Denali HD?
I have a 2018 Denali HD, had the P026d code come up with the check engine light, its been at the dealership for the past 3 weeks waiting on a fuel tank because they are saying it collapsed. From everything I’ve been reading I don’t see where this is going to cause or fix my problem. Anyone else had any issues with the fuel tank collapsing?
