Now I get a B0100 code (Electronic Front End Sensor 1 Performance). Any thoughts on how to get this fixed? Two questions.

What does DTC b0101 and b0104 do?

DTC B0101 and B0104 will set when the SDM has received 4 consecutive NOK (Not OK) messages from the front end sensor. The SDM commands the AIR BAG indicator ON via class 2 serial data. The SDM attempts to reset the front end sensor. The condition responsible for setting the DTC no longer exists. You issue a scan tool CLEAR DTCs command.
