Where is docol R8 made?
The actual makeup of the product is not very easy to find, since Docol R8 is only made in Sweden and Finland, and only available through a small number of distributors. What we do know is that Docol tubes are roll formed with a TIG welded seam, with both inner and outer weld beads removed.

From the research I have done, chromoly is generally 20-25% lighter than DOM. The reason for this is only because chromoly is stronger so you can use a thinner wall tubing and have the same strength. It would be interesting to see the difference.
