What kind of spark does 89 Chevy k1500 have?
I have a 89 Chevy k1500 5.7 TBI. Went to storage the other day and the truck shut off on me while driving. Pulled off the road and after a couple attempts it started back up. Got about 5-6 more miles and it shut off on me again and died. Has not started since. Tested spark at plugs and coil no spark.

Thanks It’s also got the new cap and rotor lol Replace oil pressure switch – (sending unit). You are the f***in man pushrod. The oil pressure switch was the problem. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. you did change the ignition control module.cranks over but no start,correct.

You’re welcome. Hey pushrod, my oil pressure gauge is fluctuating after engine warms up. It’s 4.3 in a c1500 with a manual trans. It’s got new idle air valve, CO2 sensor, fuel filter, and coil.
