Y ou have to grind down the front of the original switch front to allow it to clip in place with the new (PC Case) front cover. Mounted the control head on the new cover (you have to center and drill hose). Mounted the controller on the front case of the brake controller plug in box. Plugged everything together and went on down the road.

My neighbor was going to buy mine to put in his 08. According to the dealer up the street if you have the panel and switch install it connect to the harness left behind the panel and have them flash the BCM i believe so your truck will recogonize it.

To the left of the steering wheel, there is a Light knob and a 2WD/4WD knob, and a square cut out above them for loose change or whatever. The cut out is where the factory trailer brake controller would go, if installed from the factory.
