Why does my liftgate beep but wont open?
Ive made no key fob changes. With eng. off & all doors locked..using either key fob or switch on hatch..I get beep/lite flash & all doors unlock & hatch opens. Works same way with only “d.side door unlocked”. Anyhow, hope u get it figured out ? Good luck. btw..was going by mem. about unlocked d.side door. I rechecked & mine works like I said.
Why is my rear lift gate not working?
The motor on my rear lift gate works, but liftgate won’t open: It starts to open and then closes itself. I cannot physically lift it. Is the problem with the hydrolics? It is not cold, frozen, it worked yesterday. The glass portion will open. Replaced glass release button a month ago. Exact problem happened to me days after I bought my 11 Denali.

Why does my power lift gate not close?
When I press the close button sometimes it beeps at me. If I wait a little bit and hit the button again the lift gate will start to close but then it seems it snags something and goes right back up. Any ideas on how to fix this? If you get several fast beeps, closing it manually is supposed to be a reset.

Why does my Subaru Outback Beep 3 times?
all the button does is beep 3 times, no matter if it’s open or closed. you can close it (slow and painful), and it’ll latch. you can hold the button down long enough to unlatch, and slowly raise it. but the normal ‘open’ and ‘close’ mechanism (what with it’s varied brief touch here and long press there) just makes it beep 3 times.
Why is my Toyota rear lift gate not working?
The dealer wasn’t able to find any issues with the gate, so they plugged into the OBD port and noticed that the computer had a fault code for the rear gate. (No light on the dash, just a code within the computer.) The Toyota tech simply reset the code and viola – the gate worked.
How many beeps does power liftgate make?
Heard only 3 beeps though after pushing rear latch button. Many thanks, saved maintenance visit and rental car tomorrow. Our 2017 acted up one time and thru the below procedure, it came back to life is the way I looked at it.
