Why does the brake light come on on my GMC Jimmy?
I HAVE A 2001 GMC JIMMY 4X4 THE BRAKE LIGHT AND THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON SOMETIMES. WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES AT ALL THE VEHICLE STOPS LIKE NORMAL. I CHECKED THE FLUID IT FULL. I’M THINKING IT MAY BE A ABS SENSOR GOING OUT OR I KNOW IN SOME VEHICLE THESE LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THE SPEED SENSOR GOES OUT.

How to bleed the ABS system on a 1997 GMC Jimmy?
Does anyone have a clue on how to bleed the ABS system on a 1997 GMC Jimmy. We replaced the brake lines to the rear brakes and now the brakes won’t bleed correctly. We think the problem is in the ABS unit (big aluminum thingy with brake line coming from the proportioning valve and going to the brakes).

When the light is off that’s when I get the crunching in my brakes and then the “Boing” sound at or near the end of my stop.
