Why is my Chevy Sierra Denali battery dead?
Anyone have any issue like this? 2015 Sierra Denali 6.2L with 14,400 miles. Local Chevy dealer is to look at this pm, GMC dealer is 100 miles distant. My battery was dead this am for no apparent reason. Nothing was left on or plugged it. Once I charged the battery I noticed the Voltage Gauge will not show any charge greater that about 11.5.
How do you know if your GMC truck battery is dead?
One by one, pull each fuse in your fuse box. Check the multimeter after each fuse pull to see when the amperage draw goes away. Once you find the fuse that causes the amperage draw to go away, you at least know what circuit the draw is coming from.

Is there a problem with the Chevy battery?
Called 3 Chevy dealers, they deny that any problem of this nature exists. I have replaced the battery twice and two new alternators installed. I find that I still have a 3.5 amp draw even with alternator cable disconnected. Again, the dealer denies that there is any existing or documented issue regarding parasitic draw on these vehicles.

Why does my Acadia battery die while driving?
While driving the battery would start to die with no warning. When this happens you can not jump the car you have to bring the battery to be charged on a charger. Although the car won’t start the other things like lights, radio, etc will still work. This happened several times but once the weather was warm it ran perfect for 4 months.
