Can a Duramax engine run in the Cold?
The only question I can’t answer is how the new smaller duramax engine does specifically in the cold. I could always Start my 2015 Ram with a Cummins without plugging it in until -22F but after that it got cranky and didn’t run great so I would plug it in after that.

With the engine OFF, loosen fuel filter assembly plastic bleed screw a turn or so, and depress the round priming pump on top of FF assembly until fuel squires out of vent. CAREFULLY close plastic vent nut with fingers or nutdriver. Depress pump until firm. Barely finger tight with nutdriver is all you need.
