Honda doesn’t get points for this design ; if you are good at Rubik’s Cubes , you’ll be OK. You won’t know it until after the whole assembly is out and in your hand, but the big, white L shape rattle guard that keeps the rod for the interior up/down pull tab from banging into things is removable once the outer door handle/lock is removed.

There is no sound from the driver’s side door. With the doors closed and unlocked if I manually press down the lock on top of the door panel, not the switch, the passenger side door and the hatch will lock automatically, as they should. Again there is no sound from the driver’s side door.
