Is there a way to open the front door in a Volvo?
The only way to exit the car from the front seat is to roll down the window, reach out and grab the door handle and open the door from the outside. So the door locks work and even the keypad locks and unlocks them. The only thing that doesn’t work is the lever inside that is used to open the door. I had the same issue with one of my 850’s.

Is there a car door that wont open from the inside?
Funny thing happened recently as i was outside my local auto zone, i got in my car closed the door and it locked in place. Could not open it from the inside, so i climb over the passsenger very dukes of hazard style and had the same problem from the outside, the sound is there but it wont open and now the lock wont even turn with my key!
Where is the door pin on a Volvo?
You have to take the door panel off. There is a 3 inch pin that sits on two brackets to the left of the door (looking from inside the cabin). One of them is easily visible and for the other one you will have to pull on the door handle and it will slide to where you can see it. This pin was about $80 at a dealership.
