Dubsmash is an app which lets you create videos of yourself that are dubbed over with audio from songs, movies, TV shows and internet trends. You can share these videos, known as Dubs, with your friends, watch their videos and explore other trending videos.

Video messaging app Dubsmash experienced a large-scale data breach in December 2018 when 161.5 million user records were stolen by an unidentified hacker. The hacker then placed the records for sale on the dark web in early 2019 alongside five other victims of a data breach by the same hacker.
Is TikTok better than Dubsmash?
Dubsmash allows users to record one minute of live video, but they can only publish 10 seconds of edited video. On the other hand, any TikTok videos can be up to a minute long, though most viral videos end up being much shorter. Dubsmash users would need video editing skills to do this.
