Why does my car squeak when I turn?
I just noticed the past couple days a squeak sound kind of like if you bounced on an old squeaky mattress coming from my front end sometimes when I turn at low speeds or hit certain bumps. I think it’s coming from the front left but I’m not 100% sure.
Why does my bed squeak when I jump in bed?
Probably isn’t my shocks. I did the same thing as you, I pushed down on the front corners and jumped in the bed and didn’t hear anything. Just for your information, the grease worked it’s way in and the squeaking/creaking sound went away. 1 of the boots is torn so I’ll just have to grease it more often.

Better safe than sorry would be to replace those ball joints. If the boots are torn, they are probably full of rust and you have no idea when or if they will fail. To check for play in the ball joints, you need to jack it up under the lower control arm, so the upper control arm is off the bump stop.

I jacked the truck up twice now and checked for play in any direction and whatever else I could inspect and couldn’t find anything wrong.
