Why does my DD15 loose prime when shutdown?
The fuel system has been replaced with the injectors due to metal in the fuel system. It was performed by another shop. The customer said he spent $8000. Now the truck looses prime when shutdown. I have replaced the supply line from the tank to the pump. The truck still has the same problem. Looses prime and hard to start.

The only other thing is if the regulator or transfer pump you installed is faulty. The only way to test would be to install a cutoff valve at the inlet fuel line to the pump and the return fuel line at the regulator. When the engine is shut down, turn one of the valves off and wait. Then open the valve and see if it starts.
