My 2004.5 with 120k mi.fan clutch cycles very frequently also. Pulling a 8100 lb 5th wheel up a hill in the summer heat with a/c on. Temp gets to apx 235. Dash comes on and reads High coolant temp. It did it in 2019. I then replaced the fan clutch, waterpump and all coolant hoses.
