Why does my GMC Jimmy make a clicking sound?
Googled it cuz a friend of mine has a GMC Jimmy with the same problem. It looks like the issue is a “blend door actuator” read on: I have a 1994 Chevy C-1500 that is making a clicking sound behind the glove box area,what might that be?
Why does my 94 siverado make a thumping noise?
Every time I start my 94 Siverado, for 15 to 20 seconds it makes a “thump, thump, thump…” sound from the front heater box, then it stops. Heater works fine otherwise. When I shut the truck down, the “thumping” cycle repeats, again, for 15 to 20 seconds.

Whenever I turn the ignition key to the position where the radio comes on, I hear a clicking/thumping sound coming from the area of the blower motor housing under the dash on the passenger side. The sound lasts for about 10 seconds and then stops. When I turn the truck off, it happens again for about 10 seconds.

Why do I hear a clicking sound in my truck?
When these little motors reach their limit as far as opening, or closing these doors, the “ratchet” on a limit spring so the motor won’t burn up. All that’s happening, is the motor is trying to open or close a vent that has already reached its limit of movement. Don’t sweat it.

Why does my truck make a clicking sound when I turn it off?
The sound lasts for about 10 seconds and then stops. When I turn the truck off, it happens again for about 10 seconds. The problem didn’t occur often until I had the AC system recharged lately. What do you think the problem is? If I need to replace the blower motor, how can I remove the plasting cowling in front of it without cutting it out?
