How do I start Floris?
Tips for new players starting out in Native or Floris
- Follow the intro quest line with the merchant until completion.
- After the intro quest, you’re turned loose in a vast open world.
- Start picking up quests from nobles, villages, Guild Masters in cities, and the king of your nation.
How do I install Floris evolved mod?
According to the instructions on mod page, you just run the installer to install the module (no unzipping anything). After you do that, just install the patch by copying the path contents into the Floris Evolved folder that was created by the installer.
What is Fog of War Warband?
Fog of War represents the uncertainty that you face as a commander. It’s common in many genres such as RTS to include a fog outside of your viewing range to obscure the enemy’s activity.
What is fog of war Floris mod?
This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, so the “Fog of War” option will hide these towns, villages, castles and bridges until the player is close enough to see them on the horizon. Then, knowing where they are, they will remain visible for the remainder of the game (like they are from the beginning in Native).

A note to players new to Mount and Blade, it is advised you don’t take the Khergits or Sarranids as your starting town, since the bandits they have are mounted. In Floris, it might be a good idea to take the Swadians or Nords. The first thing you should do is take the opening merchant quest.

* As with any large Warband mod, it’s advised in the starter to go to Configure -> Video and tick ‘Load Textures on Demand’. * Since Floris is quite large, it might strain slower pc’s.
