Is the injector on my 99 DT466 bad?
We have some injector problems on our 99 DT466. Apparently the injectors have a mechanical side and an electrical side to them. We had broblems with the mechanical side. when we put the truck on the scanner to do an injector buzz test, the injector would appear as if it were ok,but it wasn’t. The problem was on the mechanical side.

The problem was on the mechanical side. International sold us 6 rebuilt injectors, which after 8 months one of them went bad with the same scenerio.
Where are the ground pins on a dt466e?
This will help narrow down a potential problem in the engine or chassis wire harness you have four pins right and left bottom right and bottom left are ground. Left set of pins cover 1,2,3, right set of pins cover 4,5,6 If memory serves me correctly # 1 and #4 are the ones next to ground.
Where are the compression valves on a dt466e?
There are 2 TDC compression both valves closed compression stroke, and exhaust intake closed and exhaust open I will leave TDC as is to keep things simple. B.D.C. Bottom Dead Center the lowest point the piston will travel in its stroke into the engine block.
