How long has NCA been around?
The National Communication Association was founded in 1914 as the National Association of Academic Teachers of Public Speaking and has evolved through the leadership of many visionary individuals. Today, the association has thousands of members from every state and all around the globe.

How do you qualify for UCA Nationals?
In order to qualify for our National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC), teams are required to fulfil the following requirements: 75% of the qualifying team must have attended a 2 Day Varsity Spirit Summer Camp and participate in the Squad Credentialing program.
What happens if my NCA Cheer competition is cancelled?
If you are registered for a NCA competition, prior to your event date, you will receive an email with detailed information specific to your event. If a competition is cancelled, we will work to provide alternate options, including transfers to another event (live or virtual) or a full refund of registration fees.
