Why does my GMC Envoy make a noise when not in motion?
It seems like flap always has pressure behind it and the noise occurs whenever the flap is not in motion (a kind of whine); so I was thinking either there is a clutch or sensor that needs to disengage the motor once it’s in the correct position or that motor is going bad and making that sound. Any suggestions?

I started to hear a ticking noise.

Are there any recalls on the 2005 GMC Envoy?
The 2005 Envoy is experiencing the same problem the 2006 was recalled for the headlights go out by itself while driving. Some have lost complete power. I was driving at night on the freeway just after I bought Charlie when the lights just went out. Tried flashers they didn’t work either.

What are the features of the GMC Envoy?
So many features and options included in the Denali edition. 4WD or 2WD options are nice to conserve gas when 4WD is not needed. Seat heaters work excellent and the touch screen radio / nav are very user friendly. Acceleration and handling is great.
