What are the problems with my Honda Civic?
Strange thing is the hazards lights start blinking and won’t go off, not even when I turn the car off. After wiggling the turn signal stick a little and pressing the hazard button in a few times it cuts off.

It turns out that the previous owners had a type of after market alarm system that was also equipped with a type of fail start button installed in the car. So the car will only start after either the button is pushed or the alarm is disabled. As I turn on the lights at night, the ones on the radio buttons do not work, only the screen.

Specifically the ignition system is not creating Spark. So, my recommendation to you, is to test each spark plug wire with a dedicated spark tester. If the ignition system is the cause of the no start, you’re not gonna’ see spark at any of the 4 spark plug wires.

How many miles does a 1995 Civic EX have?
I have a 1995 Civic EX with 160,000 miles. Stock VTec engine. After towing the car to FL, and receiving it back from a body shop (overdue work, not a recent collision), I noticed it was idling weird.
