I have a 2006 Chevy C5500 with the duramax. Its a bus and I am going to turn it into a dump truck….hopefully. My issue as i said is no crank no start from the key. I was able to get it started by turning the key on and crossing a screwdriver over the terminals on the starter but I am not able to start it with the key.

Why does my Chevy C5500 have no crank?

It has no crank not start once you hit the key. Replaced the starter same issue, fuses look good. We did get it to start but by bumping the terminals on the starter with a screw driver. Any thought on what could be going on?
