Where is the drivers side actuator on a GMC Truck?
When your drivers side blows hot, check your passenger side, it will probably be cold. The driver side actuator is really easy to change. It’s underneath the passenger dash, where your feet go. Take off that black kick panel thing, and it will be right there.

Why is my heater blowing cold air on my passenger side?
Actuators, air housing with blend doors,evap temp sensor,thermostat,both heater cores and THREE dash removals were involved before this finally repaired the issue of heat on drivers area and cold on passenger side. The heater core covers the area of air box that sends air to left and right chambers.

it is not the blend door .the blend door controls the blending of inside and outside air intake only. 2010 dodge journey heater blows hot on drivers side and Coold on the passenger side. Took it to the dealer ask them to change the bad acucurarator. They said it was good and working like it should. So I looked at it myself and it is working.

No heat issue on driver’s side of 2012 Jeep liberty, both hoses on the heater core inlet and outlet are hot. I discovered that the blower housing in behind the glove box has air filters known as compartment air filters. There are two of these filters in the compartment access door.

It barely melts frost off the window and if you turn the blower higher than the first setting it blows cold air. It is bad enough that I’m getting frost on the inside of the windows. It is the heater core being plugged, there are many threads on it.
