What is Kali Linux light?
The Lite version is XFCE, rather than GNOME. It also has far fewer packages, pentesting or otherwise. The idea is to run a lighter resource demanding environment whereby you can download the pentesting tools individually o by groups at a time as you need them. Of course, you could go right ahead and download them all.
