However, the majority of LB7 fuel leaks are caused by the filter housing. The head of the housing uses multiples o-rings to seal the pump. Over time through natural wear and tear these o-rings deteriorate and allow fuel to leak out. Fuel leaks obviously affect fuel delivery to the engine and can also cause air to get into the fuel lines.
