Man it’s not hard. If you can change out a headlight bulb you can install this HID kit. Seriously took me 30-45 minutes and the extra wiring is minimal. If I didn’t show you I installed them you would have no idea.
What’s the best headlight color for a Chevy Colorado?
The LED drivers generate a lot of heat. And the Colorado housings are sealed, so they are basically just cooking themselves in there. Also, color. Every LED I see on the market is 5000K or more in color. For me personally, that color is too blue. My eyes see best at night with a 4300K color.

Can you remove HIDS from a Chevy Colorado?
Installed HIDs in my ’06 Colorado…loved them, but knew they were fragile. At least the <2012 headlights were fairly easy to remove. Now-a-day’s you have to tear apart the entire vehicle just ro remove a small item. Did you find the recommended reading relevant to this discussion?
