How do you reset the security system on a 2007 Honda Accord?
All you need for this is your ignition key.
- Insert the ignition key in the Accord’s driver-side door lock.
- Turn the key to the unlock position.
- Turn the key to the lock position.
- Turn the key back to the unlock position. The alarm should now be disabled.

What causes a Honda Accord battery to go bad?
If the battery discharges quickly, it is bad, but that would be normal for an old battery. If your battery has a poor connection in it, it won’t discharge quickly, but will put out a steady voltage for the duration of the test. But that voltage will be lower than normal. If the battery does test good, then you may have a bad starter.
