What should I do if my remote starter wont start?
All functions work fine except starting, the engine will crank for 5 seconds but won’t start. Starting with key in ignition is perfectly fine. Locks work fine too, as does alarm.

In this car it is the RED and ORANGE wires in the middle of the connector jack to the key switch. The key must be inserted to find the other 4 wires. Turning to the Accessories position, testing with my multimeter gives the YELLOW wire.

Do not operate your remote start system in a closed garage or a buildup of carbon monoxide gas will occur. Failure to install your remote sensor correctly can cause injury and property damage. If you are unsure or unfamiliar with electrical systems, do not attempt to install your remote starter system on your own.
Where is the kick Panel on a remote starter?
If you choose to connect your remote starter to other functions such as the door locks and overhead lights then you will need to remove the kick panel as well. This is located on the lower left-hand corner of the driver’s foot box. Connect all your wires properly. It is very important that you securely connect all your wires.
