Where are the reverse lights on the focus?
Right on top of the transaxle. To the side of and under the shift linkage. The shift linkage is actually what works on the sensor. When you select reverse, a pawl inside the case rolls under the ball in the bottom of the sensor pressing it and activating the reverse light. There are pics of it in there. lol. Just take a rest and keep looking.

Is the fuse on the passenger seat light good?
I checked fuse #15 in the passenger floor board and its good. I also checked w/ a test light and have no power to the lights or bulbs. Both bulbs and LEDs are good. Any ideas? I cant think of anything else. Thanks! I know this sounds crazy. But flip the bulb socket around.

I spent way to long figuring this out when i did it on our platinum. what i ended up having to do was use the reverse light 12v+ as the signal wire with a relay. Yah you have to wire everything in with a relay on these new trucks and either keep the existing load in the circuit or wire in a resister.
