It is located on the frame crossmember above the spare tire. It was corroded and the clip was weak. I cleaned it up, put some electronics grease on it and put it back together. Then I used zip ties to hold the connector together. I never had an issue after that.

GM has a fix for the loud chimes that are coming from the Bose type radio system. They have a re-flash for the radio that does 2 things. First it lowers the volume of the chime and second it changes the volume settings so the settings are not “stacked” up at the lower end of the volume control.
