Does LEGO send free replacement parts?
For the vast majority of bricks, the replacement will be completely free, and LEGO won’t even ask for proof of purchase. Typically, replacement pieces take 7-10 business days (depending on location) to show up at your door—LEGO also covers the shipping cost.
Are all Duplo compatible?
DUPLO® and LEGO® bricks are compatible, so you can use them together. There are some limitations, however. DUPLO bricks fit best on larger LEGO bricks and may come off easily from smaller LEGO parts. DUPLO figures aren’t compatible with LEGO bricks, and LEGO minifigures won’t fit on DUPLO bricks either.
Can you replace broken LEGO pieces?
LEGO is also good at packaging their sets, so it is rare to find an element that is broken right out of the box. If you do find a broken part LEGO’s customer service is happy to replace it for you free of charge. A more common issue is parts that break during or after assembly of the set.
How do you fix a broken Lego piece?
Clean the broken edges and keep it free of dust or any other contaminants. Use a rough-bristled brush to apply a small amount of the plastic cement on both the fracture surfaces. As the plastic cement works by quickly dissolving a thin layer of the plastic, so you should apply it carefully.
Can you put DUPLO on LEGO board?
Regular LEGO baseplates can accommodate both LEGO and DUPLO. DUPLO obviously won’t stick to regular baseplates as securely as on a DUPLO plate because the studs are much smaller, but they are compatible.
