If cleaning the switch does not restore the ground connections, then you may need to replace the switch. There is one exception. If neither Lo beam headlight works, AND your high beam indicator light in the dash does not work when you turn on your Hi beam headlights, then the culprit is most likely both low beam headlights are burned out.
